It’s Torch Time Again!

Hi All,
Can you believe the 2012 London Olympics is right around the corner? The past four years have reallyyy flown by! I can’t wait to see the highly anticipated opening ceremony, phenomenal athletes, and exhilarating performances! But most importantly, I am dying to see what my fashion icon, Kate Middleton is going to wear! I wonder if she’s going to go for a sporty chic look. What do you think?
Anyway, I’m so excited to see the USA swimming team rise to victory again (and Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte’s amazing bods). But, I am sad to say that this Michael’s last Olympic games. I guess I’ll have to find a new hottie with a body to look out for in 2016.
My favorite, and perhaps one of the most thrilling sports to watch, is track and field! Can you say Usain Bolt? It seems like every time he steps on the track he shatters the world record!
And I can’t forget about all of the other sports. From volleyball to BMX cycling to rowing, there’s nothing like close competition to get that adrenaline pumping!
While I was trying to escape the blazing summer heat today, I decided to check out Webfetti for graphics and smileys to post to my Facebook wall. How else am I going to show off my enthusiasm and USA pride? If you love soccer, basketball, or gymnastics, don’t worry, Webfetti has flair for them all!

Get Socially Active…All the Cool Kids Are Doing It

What’s up, everyone?! Funny story for you. When a co-worker asked me this morning if I was socially active, I choked on my skinny vanilla latte and had to mutter, “EXCUSE me?! That seems like an awfully private thing to ask.” Then I realized she said socially active.
Obviously, I’m socially active. I’m in my 20′s and I plan my days around all-things social media; I send eCards like they’re goin’ out of style, have a Twitter account where I have a crazy loyal following and I’m a Facebook addict. I’ve also gotten really into Pinterest recently, which is AMAZING. But all that aside, it turns out she wants to become more involved online so she can keep up with what her kids and friends are doing online. I offered to help her out…because I’m awesome.
My first piece of advice for her was Social Crumbs. I set her up with her own Facebook account and immediately had her “like” the Social Crumbs page. Not only can you get helpful hints for making your online presence one worth noticing, but it’s your one-stop shop for all of the latest Facebook layouts, cool cover photos for your Facebook timeline, tons of eCards and much, much more.
What’s not to love?! Today, your challenge is to refer at least one Facebook friend to Social Crumbs. Tell them Jenni sent you and get on it, kids… I’ll be waiting to see those “likes” skyrocket!
Fun in the Sun, Baby!

Hola!
Just dropping in to wish you all a fantastic week. Now that it’s April and the weather has gotten much warmer, I decided to give myself a nice little vacay. Spring breakers aren’t the only ones who deserve some time off! I only took 2 days for R&R, but hey…I’ll take what I can get. This whole grown-up thing is NOT all it’s chalked up to be.
Oh well, at least I’m old enough to drink yummy cocktails and bring home some paper…mama likes her Jimmy Choos! Before I head out, I wanted to remind you all to stop by Webfetti to grab some awesome Spring Break graphics to post to your friends’ Facebook walls. How freakin’ hilarious is this one?

It’s Almost Leap Wednesday!

2012 is a leap year! This means tomorrow (February 29) is a “bonus” day that we wouldn’t have had on regular joe-schmo years. Now, you can choose to look at it as one additional day of work OR you can use this opportunity to your advantage (I say go with the latter)!

Tomorrow is the big day! I’m having a HUGE get-together at my place for New Year’s Eve and I can’t wait to have all of my loved ones in the same place to start the year off with a bang..or with the Christmas tree toppling over like last year, but whatever! I’m going shopping today for all of the New Year’s party essentials: noisemakers, plastic hats, champagne flutes, snacks and plenty of drinks… 2012 will make my friends VERY thirsty.
What are your plans for the big night? Will you be ringing in the New Year with your honey at home? Going to a fancy-schmancy party? Let me know- I want the dirt!

Hey y’all! Sorry we haven’t talked in a while. I actually took a little vacation right after Thanksgiving to go visit friends in Tennessee, which was AMAZING. No one celebrates Christmas quite like they do in Nashville. There was a huge Christmas parade, street vendors with hot cocoa and tons of country music caroling. I may not look or act like a southern girl, but I sure can appreciate their hospitality…and their love for everything fried (but that’s another story).
Can you believe it’s December already?! Where did this year go?! I feel like it came and went quicker than this year’s shoulder pad fad. Anyway, I’ve got a new obsession that I just HAVE to share with you. As you all know, I’m a sucker for the holiday season and I’ve stumbled upon a new online hotspot that I’m in LOVE with: HolidayLaughs!
HolidayLaughs is full of Christmas games and festive fun. My absolute fave thing is the ‘Be a Santa,’ where I added my friends’ faces to funny Christmas cards and watched them dance around in Santa outfits. ’Crack My Nuts‘ is a close second to ‘Be a Santa,’ where you’re able to turn yourself (or someone else) into a holiday nutcracker. Freakin’ hilarious, I tell ya.
Anyway, Christmas is just around the corner, so make sure you’re ready for Santa! Play some reindeer games and crack some nuts, folks! HolidayLaughs is waiting…and so is my ride. Hey everyone! It’s been such a long time since I’ve last talked to you, but don’t worry…I’m making it a point to be sure I check in with you more often. You’ve been missed! I hope you all had a fabulous Halloween and got some giant bags of candy. And now that we’ve all had our sugar fills and we’ve retired our costumes, it’s time for the next big holiday- Thanksgiving!
