I hope everyone had a baller Christmas! Now that things have settled down a bit and my entire family is in a Christmas dinner coma (yes…even two days after the fact), I’ve been reflecting on 2010 and have come up with a list of 10 goals and hopes for 2011… a New Year’s Bucket List, if you will.
10) I wish to continue LOVING my job here at Webfetti. I’m so grateful to have found such an awesome place to work with such rad people. Like I always say, my job kicks your job’s @$$!
9) I wish to accept and embrace the fact that I’m single. Being unattached is SO in this season, so as usual, I’ll be ridin’ solo and lovin’ it.
8) I wish to travel to a far-away place where I can learn something new about myself. Maybe I’ll visit Morocco, Fiji or Greece. I’ll even take a Greyhound to the Bronx at this point. Whatevs. I’m not picky.
7) I wish to volunteer somewhere where I can make a difference. Maybe I’ll hit up a nursing home and give the senior citizens some style classes or head to a local animal shelter and play with the pups. Can’t go wrong.
6) I wish to speak my mind when I have something to say. Why let moments pass you by when you can have the satisfaction of saying ‘I love you,’ ‘I miss you,’ or ‘You’re a total jerk and I will NOT go on a date with you,’ when you can?
5) I wish to improve my culinary skills. I burnt soup the other day…SOUP! Did you even know that was possible? I have the charred pot to prove it…
4) I wish to spend more time with the people I love.
3) I wish to begin writing a novel. My life is a soap opera, so why not make a profit off of it, right? It will be a combination of dysfunction, hilarity, comedy and sass. Stay tuned.
2) I wish to try something new and adventurous! Rock climbing, bridge-jumping and white water rafting are high on the list.
And last, but not least,
1) I wish for myself, my friends and family (this includes you!) to have a healthy, successful and happy New Year!
Now, head to Webfetti and put together YOUR New Year’s bucket list using our awesome Smileys and Graphics! Have fun and I’ll ttyl!
MERRY CHRISTMAS my Webfetti muffins! I hope you’re all having a fantastic holiday and Santa treated you well! Though I didn’t find Brad Pitt under my Christmas tree (or any Hollywood hottie, for that matter), I DID receive a pair of to-die-for boots… and nothing says “You were good this year” like a pair of beautiful, leather, want-to-run-your-hands-all-over-them, stiletto knee-high’s. Ahhhh…
I have to get back to sending my relatives some holiday Webfetti, but I wanted to pop in and tell you all how much I miss you. I can’t wait to be back at work to grace you with the latest ‘fetti 411! In the mean time, go hang with your fam and be thankful for all of the wonderful things you’ve been blessed with this year.
Happy Holidays from the entire Webfetti team! (Now go play with your presents!)
Hey everyone! I wanted to send a quick “hello!” out there to let you all know just how much I appreciate the love and friendship you’ve all given me this year! I’ve had a great year here at Webfetti and I am SO glad I’ve gotten to know you all (and that you’ve gotten to know me, too!). You’ve become such wonderful friends and (hopefully) you’ve taken some online fabulosity away from your friendship with me…after all, I AM the Webfetti queen!
On this joyous Christmas Eve, I wanted to remind you all to send your loved ones some fun ‘fetti! It’s really the perfect way to give someone a special something without breaking the bank. Send something sweet to Mom, funny to Dad and naughty to your other half Also, for those of you who end up having surprise visitors or getting an unexpected gift this Christmas, sending Webfetti is a great way to tell those people you haven’t forgotten about them (even if you have, they won’t know)!
Oh, and I almost forgot! We’ve debuted a brand new Text Generator! It’s the same fun tool, but with a ton of new fonts and it’s also sporting a new name…drumroll, please…
Introducing THE LETTER LOUNGE (cue ooh’s and ahh’s). Go play around and spend your day writing Santa an awesome text creation. It’ll be perfect next to his milk and cookies!
Have a very Merry Christmas Eve and I’ll talk to you all soon!
I know you haven’t heard from me in a while because I’ve been super busy getting ready for the holidays (sorry!), but today’s blog post is more of a bitchin’ sesh…online therapy, if you will. Retail therapy is more my thing, but I figure this is worth a shot, right?
I know the holidays can be rough. You’re busy dealing with annoying in-laws, hanging decorations, cooking feasts, spending your hard-earned cash on your third cousin’s children (who have yet to thank you for last year’s presents) and oh, right…working! Stress, stress, stress! I think it’s time people start remembering that Christmas is supposed to be a time of peace and joy, instead of pushing, shoving and road rage, hm?
The holiday season is becoming longer and longer. It used to begin in mid-December, but recent years have been pushing December forward little by little. Before you know it, it’s the first of November and Santa is at your local mall! WTF?! This Christmas, I’m going to ask you all a favor. For ONE day in the upcoming weeks, I would like you to sit back at home with your family and take it all in. Smell the pine, listen to the children laughing and enjoy the feel of your cozy, snuggly couch. All too often we forget about the most important parts of the season- being thankful for what we have. While you’re busy cookin’ up a storm and untangling Christmas lights, don’t forget about the little things that make the holidays worthwhile.
Wait… How did he get in here? Whoops… (Sorry, but I just had to!)
Anyway, this Christmas be sure to honor the holdiay for what it’s worth. Smile at a stranger on the street, help someone carry their shopping bags and shovel old lady Timmerman’s driveway so she doesn’t throw her hip out on the ice again. Let’s all take a breather, send our loved ones some Webfetti and just take a chill pill.
Whew! Now that that’s off my chest, I’m going to go finish writing my letter to Santa. Peace out, everybody!
Wow! I feel like I haven’t posted in forever! I guess the chaos of the holidays can do that to a girl. Anyway, I hope you’re all having a wonderful start to your December and you’re gearing up for (the remainder of) Hanukkah and Christmas! I was so pumped to see all of Webfetti’s new Graphics, especially since we took a lot of YOUR suggestions and created some fun Christmas movie images. Which ones, you ask? Let me show you some of my festive faves. Can you guess which X-mas flicks these are from?
Anyway, I’m SO glad it’s time to unpack my boxes of holiday loot, again. It’s time to bust out the stockings and snowman hand towels! Now, where’s that handly mistletoe…
Hey everyone! Sorry it’s been a while since my last post- I’ve been crazy busy! This past weekend I was in an intense game of powderpuff football and have been recovering ever since. Go hard or go home, right?
For those of you who aren’t familiar with this awesome pastime, let me explain. Powderpuff is a game of either touch or flag football where the girls are the players and the boys are the cheerleaders…kind of a role swap. The ladies get a chance to let out their inner ferocity and throw on a cute jersey (what? They are!) and the macho men have an opportunity to cheer on the girls, while jumping around on the sidelines and coaching the chicks. In our case, though, us ladies already knew what we were doing and the guys just stood there and drooled at us. Oh, men.
Anyway, the game was crazy and my team ended up beating the other team by a touchdown in the last 20 seconds! Oh, and did I mention who scored that glorious touchdown? That would be moi! My next endeavor is to put together a co-worker powderpuff game to celebrate Thanksgiving. How AWESOME would it be to see some of the bosses in cheerleading skirts and the estrogen from the office kicking some booty?! Mwahahaha…
Speaking of Thanksgiving, we’re totally pumped for turkey time over here. Webfetti has some great new Graphics and Smileys for you to send to all of the people you’re thankful to have in your life. Check ‘em out! Also, there are so many great holiday traditions (like my powderpuff game) that would be great to pass on for others to enjoy…maybe we can even make some into new Graphics for you. What’s YOUR favorite part about Thanksgiving? Let me know!
Peace out, for now!
What’s good, Webfetti fans?! Jenni here, bringing you the latest Webfetti dirt! If you haven’t gotten a chance to check out my bio, make sure you do so you know more about the chica you’re dealing with, here. But enough about me… on to the good stuff!
