Call Me MAYbe…or Not

Okay, so, not only am I obsessed with that stinkin’ song, but I just realized it’s almost MAY! Did you notice my hilariously clever play on words with “Call me MAYbe?” Ha…at least it made me laugh. Anyway, can you believe it’s almost the end of April?! Time is flyin’ by.
The weather has been seriously funky recently and I’m wondering what the heck is goin’ on! I don’t know what to wear anymore. Last week I wore a cute sundress, this week I’m braving rainstorms and freezing nights, and if I listen closely I think I can actually hear the faint sounds of my closet weeping. Maybe Mother Nature had a little bit too much fun on Earth Day (if you know what I’m sayin’).
Anyway, May brings us so many awesome holidays to celebrate: Cinco de Mayo (tequila!), Mother’s Day, National Teachers Day, and Memorial Day, to name a few. I just hope you’re all prepared for what the next month has in store for us. I’ve been staying on top of everything by checking in daily to Social Crumbs. God, I love feeling informed. Did you know today is Administrative Professionals Day? BET NOT! Unless you visit Social Crumbs regularly…just sayin’.
Anyway, on a total side note, I have a relationship question for all the men out there (or ladies who have experienced this)… Hence my clever, witty blog title, I’ve noticed that a LOT of guys say they’ll call you and then then don’t. YOU hit on ME, dude. Who’s got some insightful wisdom about their lack of cojones and why they lie about calling?

So 7/11 was last Monday, which was one of my favorite days of the year because it was Free Slurpee Day! Did you go out and get your free slurpee? I clearly participated because I heart free stuff. But honestly, who doesn’t? If it’s free, it’s for me!
Do you try to take advantage of all the promotions online and in your favorite stores like I do? I also pride myself on finding the best free Facebook apps to play!

The Verdict Is…

Who watched the Casey Anthony verdict? If you didn’t and haven’t read the news in the past hour, well, spoiler alert: she was found not guilty for first degree murder, child abuse and manslaughter. However, she was found guilty for providing false information to law enforcement officers. I really don’t know what to make of this…it’s such a sad scenario regardless of the final verdict and it makes me even more thankful for my loving family and friends.
Do you think the jury made the right decision or that they happened to be the only 12 people in Florida that found her to be innocent?
Throughout the course of the trial, I’ve been making sure to read at least one positive thing a day to remind myself that the world is still a wonderful place. Daily Bible Quotes is a new Facebook App. where an uplifting quote is released daily, and I have to say- it’s such a refreshing morning pick-me-up.

Yesterday was Hug Holiday Day! I missed participating in such a good holiday. Bummer… So, I am going to make today Hug Holiday Day! Do it with me? We are supposed to go out and give hugs to everyone that needs one, especially those at senior citizen homes and hospitals. I’m gonna cruise by later to complete my good deed of the day. I try to do a random act of kindness everyday, even if it is just letting a car get in front of me on the highway. Do you?
If I don’t get to physically do a good deed everyday, I send my friends, that I know aren’t having the best day or don’t feel well, a heart from HeartYou. They have the best hearts and I know that the hearts bring smiles to my friend’s faces because they are so fetch! But more importantly, my friends know that I am thinking about them. Yes, I love the taste of spicy hot sauce drizzled on top of chips and burritos. Yes, I love the Mexican traditions, bright colors and intricate dancing, but most of all, I love the fact that there are now CINCO DE MAYO SMILEYS AVAILABLE ON iTUNES!!!!!
I mean, who honestly doesn’t love celebrating a holiday where you can wear a sombrero all day and tell your friends that you need to excuse yourself to take a “siesta” a.k.a. a nap a.k.a. stuffing your face with delicious food in the confines of your own room?! AMAZING!

Spring Has Sprung!

It’s officially springtime (thank goodness), so it’s time to say buh-bye to snowstorms and hello to spring sandals! Not only is this an important time of year for my wardrobe, but Webfetti has also had quite the spring makeover!

Have I Told You Lately That I Heart You?

Hey everyone! With Valentine’s Day less than a week away, I have AWESOME freakin’ news for you. So, I was doing what I do best (aside from being fabulous, obvs) and snooping around the office to get some down-low dirt when I stumbled upon something SO amazing. Within the next couple of days, it seems our friends here at Webfetti will be launching a new Facebook app that seems SO amazing. I knew there was some crazy, rad stuff going on during the last month, but this is just too cool.
From what I heard through my travel mug held up against the conference room door, I think the app has something to do with hearts, but I can’t be sure. Maybe it’s Your Hearts or My Hearts or Heartburn or something…all I know is you’ll have to keep your eyes and ears out for the fantastic revealing of this to-die-for app…wait…maybe I shouldn’t refer to dying while I’m talking about a heart app. I apologize.
