You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile!
Oct 11th
This Columbus Day, I want to honor a very special guy who has profoundly impacted the world as we know it. He’s changed the way society lives, breathes and socializes. This individual has discovered new, exciting territories, and, in return, has gained a world of followers. This icon is none other than…(drumroll, please)…
The Smiley

It is with tremendous pleasure that I announce to you the astonishing discovery of Smiley Chat for Facebook. This little, yellow dude has paved the way for other…yellow dudes…to follow in his footsteps into the magical world of Facebook. Cue the trumpets.
Say “adios” to plain text emoticons in your Facebook Chats and welcome a new society of Smileys (and more) that will modernize and pimp-ify your chats. With Smileys and Graphics for every mood and situation, now you can inject your conversations with our fun little guys instead of the usual
and
that everyone is so used to seeing. BORING!
Not ONLY does Smiley Chat automatically insert sweet Smileys into your convos, but it also transforms everyday Internet lingo into sparkly, wacky graphics (and let’s be serious, who doesn’t love sparkles?). Now, instead of sending “LOL” to your buds, they’ll get the 21st century version:

If you ask us, it’s about stinkin’ time! Smiley Chat’s popularity is spreading faster than the bed bug epidemic, so don’t be last in line to get the hottest have-to-have! Note: Pushing and shoving is not necessary.

All you have to do to get this awesome app is head to Smiley Central on Facebook, where you’ll be taken through simple step-by-step instructions. Before you know it, you’ll be the envy of all of your friends and they’ll want to join you on this incredible adventure in discovering new lands, too. Keep it real, kids, and let me know what you think about my fave, new app!
I Heart the Eighties
Sep 16th
As a product of the eighties, I’ve come to LOVE the ridiculousness of that decade (aside from that ’867-5309/Jenny’ song that came out, which still haunts me to this day). If you weren’t around in the 1980′s (or if you were, but you were still waddling around in diapers) you missed out on a “totally rad” time, which is why I’ve decided to have an 80′s-themed birthday bash tomorrow night in Atlantic City, and more importantly, why I’m so excited to share my love of the eighties with YOU, here on my bloggity-blog!
Not only will tomorrow night’s par-tay have strickly retro tunes (Bon Jovi and Madonna, anyone?), but I’ll also be decked out in a neon frock, complete with leg warmers, lace gloves and a side ponytail…oh, and Funky Cold Medina drinks will be served (obvi)! In case you missed the fabulosity of those 10 years, here are some of my fave highlights:
- The Clapper (Not to be mistaken with ‘The Clap.’ K, thanks)
- Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (Skipping school + singing on a parade float= awesome)
- Flourescent Scrunchies (Molly Ringwald would be proud)
- Jelly Shoes (I had one in every color…duh)
- The Dukes of Hazzard (I was convinced Bo Duke would be the father of my babies)
- Cyndi Lauper (Because girls DO just wanna have fun)
Anyway, I’m SUPER excited for tomorrow night’s neon madness, and I wish you all could come celebrate with me! I’ll be back before ya know it, though, so try not to miss me too much! Just for fun, drop me a line and tell me your favorite 80′s fad!

I’m out like a pair of MC Hammer parachute pants. Check ya later, kids!
