Sigh – Mondays can be a real downer sometimes. At least I have something to look forward to this week – the announcement of the HeartYou ‘Name that Heart: Cute Monster Edition’ Contest! It’s going to happen right here on the Hotsheet, so stay tuned, okay?
P.S.: Could someone tell Skip Smiley to stop nagging me about his monster heart name? I told him that naming it “Skip” wasn’t very original, but you know how he is – his ego is sometimes bigger than his moustache!

Howdy everybody! Twoday is a special day! Why? Because twoday is August three, and on this special Wednsday, it is day two of HeartYou’s Name that Heart contest. That was pretty clever, right? LOL. I think I am going to submit my cute monster heart’s name today, so I hope you’re all brainstorming up some clever ideas! Have you submitted yours yet? Click here to get started now!

I know you’ve all been eagerly awaiting a fun challenge, and I’ve got just the thing for you! Listen closely to hear how you can win some awesome prizes from one of my FAVE Facebook Apps!
The contest is called:
Name That Heart Contest: Cute Monster Edition
Here’s How It Works:
When does it start? It starts on August 2, 2011 and runs through August 6, 2011. The winners will be announced on Wednesday, August 10.
What You Need to Do: First, you’ll need to have an active Facebook account. Once you do, you’ll need to install the HeartYou Facebook application if you haven’t already. (Don’t worry… it’s free!) Next, “Like” the HeartYou Facebook Fan Page here, and then you’re ready to take on the challenge!
To get started, head to HeartYou and look for the first 3 hearts on the main heart gallery page, titled ‘Contest Heart 1’, ‘Contest Heart 2’ and ‘Contest Heart 3’. HINT: Look for the adorable monsters.
Your Challenge: Name these hearts! It’s your chance to show off your creativity and originality, so come up with some clever titles. You can name one, two or all three of our monster hearts.
How to Enter: After checking out our contest hearts, come back here to the Webfetti Hotsheet and respond to this blog post with your inventive titles! Make sure you submit a working email address in case our judges need to contact you! Also, be sure to tell us which monster you’re naming- 1, 2 or 3!
Submission Requirements: You can only name one heart per Facebook account/email address.

It’s Never Too Soon For Turkey…or Tofurkey. Whatever Floats Your Gravy Boat.

Happy Monday all of my loyal followers and ‘fetti first-timers! I hope everyone had a fantastic Halloween weekend! I just LOVE seeing all of the little kids dressed up and running from door-to-door in their adorable (and occasionally disturbing) costumes. Have you ever noticed that there’s always that ONE kid who grabs a handful of candy from your bowl and runs away after you specifically said ”please take one”? This year for me, it was a boy dressed up as Snooki from The Jersey Shore. And no, I’m not kidding.
Anyway, now that our fond memories of vampires, mummies and bats are officially “so yesterday,” we can focus our attention on bigger and better things, like THANKSGIVING! There’s nothing I love more than a day completely devoted to four of my favorite f’s: family, friends, food and football. Fashion took the day off. I was not at all surprised when I entered the mall this weekend and found that Halloween decorations are no-longer. Christmas and Hanukkah decorations are up, but it seems the shopping mall may have forgotten about Thanksgiving! Instead of having Santa come to the mall for photos, I think we need to get a turkey up in that joint! We can’t neglect November holidays!
This past month, our Halloween graphics did SO well, that we want to give you all a head-start sending Thanksgiving loot. Try and send even more than you did for Halloween. The Pilgrims and Indians would be proud. Here are some of our new Thanksgiving graphics, hot off the press for you to gift:
Well, what do you think of our new swag? Do you have any fun plans for Thanksgiving this year? Here at Webfetti, we’re already preparing for the joyous occasion, and there’s even talk of having a formal, sit-down dinner one night! After all, work family is just an extension of your own family, right? You do spend the majority of your days with your co-workers. If this employee soiree happens, I can be extra thankful since there’s a good chance I’ll be sitting across from some serious hunks. Let’s just hope I don’t get stuck breaking the wishbone with the office don juan (cough, cough, Skip Smiley, cough cough).

Meet the Skipster and Then Go Shower…

What’s good, ladies and gents? You all know I’m guilty of being a bit of a gossip, so why would I skimp on the details about our new hire, Skip ‘The Skipster’ Smiley! Skip will be the face of SmileyCentral, and will work hard to keep you informed about the hottest new apps, news and water cooler gossip…oh, and himself (which seems to be high on his priority list).
He’s already made quite an impression on the office staff, and is very…er… interesting. Not to mention, his outfits have most definitely added some zest to the workplace. But don’t worry, I won’t let anyone steal my thunder around here. We all know who rules this office runway.
I’ve conducted a mini-interview with our new anchor to give you all a small dose of Skip (trust me, you’ll thank me it’s not a larger dose). If he needs to be straightened out, though, I think we all know I can train ‘em well! 
: Skip, what would you say is your most unique quality as the new reporter for SmileyCentral?
: My unmatched charm and ability to woo the ladies with only my natural scent. Next…
: Wow. So, if you could “woo” one lady from history with a breaking news story, who would you choose?
: Has anyone ever told you you’re eyes are beautiful? They look like the marble countertops in my kitchen.
: Um, okay. Thanks. So would you say you have a natural ease in front of the cameras?
: Everything about me is au naturale, if you know what I’m sayin’…
: Last question. I heard you also have an interest in freestyling. If you could report one SmileyCentral report to the tune of any rap, what would it be?
: Gangsta’s Paradise. I know how to roll wit the homies.
